Lorne Greenwood, Legal Director

Lorne has been a singer and played bass trombone most of his life and practiced law in Milton since 1977.  As a singer (with a Grade 8 vocal from the Royal Conservatory of Music) he has sung solos (including on street corners while spending a year hitchhiking through Europe) and performed with many bands in the largest theatres in Canada (including Roy Thomson Hall) from Montreal to Vancouver. As a trombone player, he has been playing since age 14 and presently plays in a show band called “That Band” as well as the Milton Concert Band.  As a lawyer, he has participated on many boards and committees including Martindale Gardens (past director), Milton Meals on Wheels (director), Milton Arthritis Society (chairperson, commercial branch), Milton Kinsmen Club (past president), Milton Library Board (past director), the Milton Choristers (past director) and the Milton Children’s Choir (past director).
