Eric Fahn – Director
Eric Fahn received his Bachelor of Music degree with Honours from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Education degree (Artist-in-Community Education Program) from Queen’s University and a Diploma in Arts Management from Humber College. He studied the violin with Alec Catherwood and the viola with world-renowned violist Rivka Golani. Eric is currently the principal violist of the Milton Philharmonic Orchestra and was the principal violist of the Oakville Chamber Orchestra from 2000 – 2014. He has been with the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra since 1988 and was on the Board of Directors (Education Committee Chair) from 2000 – 2007. In addition, as a teacher with the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, Eric was the music director/conductor ofthe board’s choir Jubilee Singers during World Youth Day 2002 in Toronto and Orchestra Manager/Principal Violist for the their production of Handel’s Messiah in 2011. Eric freelances and teaches in the GTA area, and is currently the church organist with St. Joseph’s Parish in Toronto.
