Welcome to the 8th installment in our Winterlude series. This year even though we were unable to perform or even rehearse at home in the FirstOntario Centre for the Arts, we decided to film in different locations in Milton, outside, and in small ensembles. We had a wonderful time visiting the Terre Bleu Lavender Farm in October with the string ensemble. What a joy it was to be together again after 18 months apart! It was the most perfect day, and we all got so much out of being together again and playing beautiful music. Even the robust Terre Bleu crickets got into the act!

In November the brass ensemble filmed in Livingston Park alongside the Mill Pond – it was also wonderful to be together again, but wow, was it ever cold that day! We had intended to film in the gazebos there and at Town Hall, but for some reason, we didn’t check the calendar… and the Winter Festival was on the same day! Ooops. No matter, we got the job done, and Livingston Park is really beautiful. All good! Frozen fingers and faces aside, it too was a great afternoon.

We hope you enjoy this video as much as we did making it. Have a wonderful holiday season, and please… stay healthy! Merry Christmas!
