What season would be complete without a show devoted to the classical masterpieces? Join us for Classical Gold on April 8th, and enjoy the true masters of Classical music.
This concert is dedicated to the memory of the wonderful Suzanne Hnatiw, a violinist who brought her joy of life to the orchestra and shared her uplifting spirit with everyone she touched. Sadly, we lost Suzanne this past summer to Mesothelioma after a fierce and courageous battle. We are pleased to salute our friend and colleague by dedicating this concert to her memory. Donations to the Canadian Mesothelioma Foundation may be made here in Suzanne’s memory.
Update: Read Suzanne’s story on MiltonTalk.ca here.
The show will be kicked off by a group of Suzanne’s fellow fiddlers as they play in her honour, followed by the MPO performing Elgar’s Nimrod. We hope you can join us for this very special concert.
